“Quaint and clean for a low cost room”
We booked Casa Melissa for an overnight room, close to the ferry, on our way to our Cozumel time share. This low budget property is definitely worth the price. Staff is attentive and very friendly. “Nice hotel in Centro Playa del Carmen.”

“Overall good stay”
We would stay here again. This was a lovely smaller hotel which was central to everything - buses, collectivos, food, bars, beach. For being so central it was also quiet - no night club noise ! “stayed there awhile back, great low cost option right next to the beach in the middle of Playa”
I love this hotel...it's my #1 choice for Playa was able to get an ocean view room for a fraction of the cost of a major chain's booking certainly not as full-featured as the Thompson but the prices are simply not in the same ballpark
