Went for a long weekend in the sun on 7th February 2025 - 10th February 2025. This is our happy place, very chilled vibe, large, warm pool and a great little pool bar for drinks and snacks. Very friendly and welcoming staff on reception. We try to book at least once a year during the UK winter time. Free shuttle bus and about half an hours walk to Melonares.

“Great relaxing stay”

Lovely, relaxing spot! Yes, the bungalows could do with a bit of a refresh, but they were fantastically clean and housekeeping do a great job. The kitchenette was really well equipped too, good pans and utensils, fair sized fridge and a microwave as well as the hob. The grounds are lovely, lots of trees and shrubs, but from the pool you can see the mountains in the distance. This seems to be the quiet end of Maspalomas, and the atmosphere seemed to reflect that, with the emphasis on relaxation rather than loud activities and drink. But the sister site (Green Golf) across the road has some evening shows and activities if you want, so best of both worlds really. We used the shuttle bus to get to Maspalomas, the dunes, the beach, nice beachfront restaurants (El Senador was great, decent vegetarian selection too), and there were plenty of taxis for coming back, pretty cheap too. And the staff were great, really friendly, got things sorted when we had a couple of things that needed fixing. Poolside bar staff (Manuel and Isaac) were great, all the restaurant staff at Green Golf were really good too. All in all, a lovely relaxing week - thank you!

“10 Days at Sandy Golf”

Returned from 10 lovely days in Sandy Golf with my family. We booked two rooms and got them bedside one another, close to reception and the pool which was good with two small children! The rooms are lovely, spacious and incredibly clean! We loved the small courtyard for laundry out back. The surrounding area is quiet, but also not too many places to go locally for food etc. however the hotel has a free shuttle to both Maspalomas and Playa Del Inglés which is great! Lots to do there. The pool area is peaceful and the water wasn’t too cold, made for some really relaxing afternoons in the sunshine. We never struggled to find loungers. The WiFi was quick and accessible all over the complex. Despite the frequent visits from maids, we found ourselves without toilet roll a few times, having to borrow from next door (our family) or ask at reception for more. The bungalow near us which was directly beside reception and security spent a lot of time on their patio smoking marijuana. This was ignored by staff. Whilst I have no issue with people doing this, doing it in a public hotel where there are small children around is never acceptable. We had to keep the windows closed due to the smell and had to come in from the patio a lot with the kids because of it. I wish the staff had stopped this. The pool bar is cashless, which was a bit of a pain. On holiday we tend to take cash but fortunately had our cards on our phones etc. Upon check in, we were dropped outside around 10-11pm without being told what to do, fortunately an English speaking guest came out and explained we had to check in at Green golf. With two babies and lots of suitcases etc this was incredibly inconvenient. Overall our stay was good, we would probably come again and would recommend to others.
