We arrived much earlier than the check in time and were told are apartment would be ready in 15 mins so we were very happy, the apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the pool was exceptionally clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. The apartments are located up some steps but are manageable if you have no mobility needs but there is also another door at the rear which is on the flat. There is a spar shop next door and it’s a short walk to the strip, I would definitely come here again if I come to puerto del carmen.

1st time staying in Corona mar apartments Excellent clean and well equipped apartment. Staff very friendly and hard working nothing is a problem for them Great location a few steps up to the first floor which for us was ok, however there was a back door that leads out of the back of the apartments that avoids the steps All in all a great holiday in a great apartment with wonderful staff. Thank you Corona mar we will be returning. Hasta luego 😊

Many times to PDC but first at the corona mar. We arrived after reception hours, checking was very easy. There is an intercom outside the locked gates which gets you through the locked gate then the same person through a 2nd intercom unlocks a key safe for you for your apartment key. There is also a key safe outside your door which is for if you loose your key, same intercom man would give you the combination. Our room had been recently part refurbed nearly everything was new and a strong smell of paint. Bathroom a little dated but good shower and always had hot water, kitchen as functional as needed for a SC holiday full sized cooker 2 ring hob kettle coffeemaker and microwave. Small bedroom only enough room for 1 bedside table beds were comfy and plenty of wardrobe space. No safe in room but you could hire a safe box in reception area. Reception only open to 4 pm so no good for keeping jewellery, ipads phones in etc. living room very spacious. Only 2 of us so no need to try out the sofa bed. Flat screen tv with at least 6 English channels. Our apartment was at the front of the building overlooking the road great sea views and no issue with traffic noise. Balcony got the sun till about 2 pm and if you wanted a sundowner tipple in the sun after that there is a small seating area just outside your door where you can catch the last rays of the day. Nice spacious swimming pool area, very peaceful when we were there, pool freezing. Sea is warmer. Reception staff so helpful and friendly same as cleaning staff. Shower room available for late checkout (very small) There are steep steps into apartments so beware if you have any walking issues, didn’t explore so can’t comment on the alleged back way into complex. Central location just up from the strip(casino) conveniently a spar underneath Holiday was complemented with good weather had a great time would definitely return to this clean and tidy complex. Another delightful week relaxing at the Corona Mar. Having spent a week there at the same time last year, my wife & I decided to return once again. If anything, our stay this year surpassed our experience in 2024. A very quick transfer from the airport, we checked in early, & while our apartment wasn't ready to occupy, we were able to familiarise ourselves again with the surrounding area. In particular the Spar Supermarket literally on the door step. Returning for our apartment key, we rented a safe deposit box from the very friendly & welcoming manager. The safe deposit box is in a room adjacent the reception area & is 'free' for a €10 deposit which is refundable upon departure. This year, we stayed in apartment No20, which is on the first floor towards the end of the complex, near the rear door. A key for the rear door is provided by the manager, along with your apartment key. The rear door facility allows guests to exit & enter the Corona Mar without the need to negotiate the steps at the front of complex. In addition to all of the excellent facilities provided in the apartment, this year it included an iron & an ironing board. The cleaning services provided by the friendly staff was second to none. Towels are changed once during a 7 night stay, which was fine with us. As may have been mentioned in previous reviews, the apartments have a full sized electric oven, & one evening when we returned from being out most of the day, we were able to purchase some fresh food from the supermarket & cook a meal indoors. Coupled with some excellent great value wine available from the Spar, it made for a lovely evening! Although before we arrived in Puerto del Carmen, the weather forecast for our week was mixed, overall the resort dodged the rain and we enjoyed some lovely warm sunny weather during our stay, & we took full advantage of the sunbeds scattered around the communal areas of the Corona Mar. Being in a first floor apartment, we were able to enjoy the sun from dawn to dusk if we wanted to. Would we return for a third time. Yes, of course! The Corona Mar provides us with some peace & relaxation. Just right to banish those winter blues!
