We arrived here at 3.30am on the night of the 24th after having to leave our airbnb due to safety reasons, the lady on the desk was incredibly kind and helpful and reassuring and got us checked in quickly and smoothly. “A great place to be!”

The staff are exceptional. Friendly, helpful and kind. Clean, bright and comfortable. Near an amazing beach with fabulous views. Lovely pool a couple of cabaret nights. Here is the super Madi who looks after us in the bar. Great place to be.

Just returned from this hotel after staying 5 nights with friends, can honestly say this was one of the friendliest hotels I’ve stayed in and I travel a lot! Our hotel room was clean and airy the bed extremely comfortable. The pool area is fairly small but clean with plenty of beds. We had bed and breakfast , the choice at breakfast was fantastic , very fresh with a huge choice of food. The location is excellent just a minute or so walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants shops etc. although Can Picafort isn’t for me and I won’t be returning, I have nothing but good things to say about EVERY member of staff we encountered, from check in staff, bar staff, breakfast area, cleaners were or seemed genuinely happy. We were always greeted and welcomed with smiling faces , nothing was too much trouble and they were also fun. I can’t name everyone but wish I could ! I did managed to get Madi’s name who worked in the bar area by the pool ( all were amazing ) she was a sweetheart. We would all highly recommend this hotel . Thank you to every member of staff you are all wonderful !

“Pleasant and peaceful but room for improvement”

I just came here for 5 nights half board (I came solo and I’m 26 for reference). I sadly don’t think I would visit this hotel again. There were lots of really great points to the hotel but also a few downsides too. First off, it’s not a hotel for the younger generation. I was out numbered by elderly German couples and HUGE groups of elderly German people. There was no one English or younger at the hotel, this isn’t anything against German OR elderly people. I’m just stating that if you are a lot younger like me, you will feel a little out of place and awkward at this hotel. Pros: * Breakfast was really good, lots of fresh pastries, eggs, toast, fruit and yogurt, cake, pancakes, omelettes, beans etc * Coffee was nice at breakfast * Rooms are lovely and clean with gorgeous balcony views (rooms a little small especially bathrooms but I was alone so wasn’t a problem for one person but if you are a two you may be cramped) * Pool area is lovely really clean and chilled vibe, pool bar offers some good drinks and snacks too, all the pool/bar staff were lovely and really attentive * Amazing location so close to beach, hundreds of shops and restaurants all a 2 minute walk out of the hotel Cons: * Hotel is more for elderly demographic * Drinks aren’t included in evening meals you have to pay (even water isn’t included) I thought this was really poor to not even get basic drinks included * Only drinks you can have at breakfast are small coffee or small glass of juice. No fizzy drinks etc. * Some restaurant staff were a little rude too (I had an encounter with the man who stands at the door of the restaurant and mans the till) he tried to accuse me of not paying for drinks for 2 days! I had only been in the restaurant once one evening as I’d been eating out. I ate there my first night and had one 7up - no one told me I had to pay for this. Which I wasn’t to know. So I accidentally didn’t pay, but offered to pay the next day when he abruptly confronted me. * No music on around the pool. VERY quiet, would be nice to have some music on (not loud just enough to hear it). * Drinks / food at the hotel ARE expensive. The iced coffee was lovely but for €5 it was tiny and half of the glass was literally just whipped cream. * Evening meals were really poor and really let this hotel down for me. Each evening I did attempt to eat in there the chips/potato wedges were freezing cold, everything generally was quite stale, pizza was rock hard, some evenings they didn’t have butter out for the bread either and the scrambled eggs at breakfast were really wet, runny and cold (BUT the desserts at both meal times were amazing!) The half board isn’t good value for money considering drinks aren’t included at all in the evening and drinks are limited and very small at breakfast. The area is full of gorgeous restaurants all along the sea front. So you are much better off just doing the B&B option and going out in the evenings, you really aren’t missing anything at the evening buffet. Overall a peaceful pleasant stay - I just don’t think the hotel it’s self and the half board option are worth what you pay. And it just unfortunately didn’t fit me well for my age. It was really quiet round the pool you could hear a pin drop and no one to talk to or people watch, as it was just a really quiet pool of older people fast asleep (haha). It’s absolutely perfect if you are of the older generation and want a nice quiet break, you would genuinely really enjoy it and it would suit you nicely. But if you are younger, it’s probably not what you’d be looking for!
