Some Cruise Lines may offer the option of booking a staterooms at a lower price called guaranteed staterooms. If this stateroom category is available and you decide to book one, you need to know that the type of stateroom booked will be guaranteed (inside, outside..) but you will not be able to choose your cabin from the deck plan on your selected ship. You will generally be advised of the exact location of your stateroom once you embark the ship. Please not that the Cruise Line will be unable to accept any request to change your stateroom. It could happen that you are located into a  superior category to the one originally booked at no extra charge, but you will never be alocated into a lower category to the one booked.
