“Perfect Hotel in Rome, Service, Rooms, Breakfast and Location!”

We stayed in the Demetra Hotel in Sept this year. The hotel is in a perfect location: 10 minute walk from the main rail terminus in Rome (easy, cheap and quick Leonardo Express journey from airport to centre of Rome). All staff without exception, reception, housekeeping, breakfast etc were welcoming, friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. The rooms and all area on the Demetra were spotless, our rooms were cleaned and serviced daily. The bathrooms were spacious with good water pressure and hot water for showers. A safe in the room with tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and fridge were also a welcome find in the room. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and plenty of freshly cooked, prepared dishes including fruit and pastries etc. Good coffee and tea options. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Rome, a beautiful city to explore on foot. The hotel is near the sightseeing bus routes, there is a small supermarket next door and a good bar/cafe/restaurant two minutes away. Although centrally located with these good amenities next door, the rooms were quiet and a good nights sleep was guaranteed. “Rome 2025 ( Rugby trip)”

We just arrived back from staying at this hotel and it was amazing. The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels ( we had 3 rooms for 6 of us ) The staff were lovely and so helpful. Only short walk to collesum. Would highly recommend a stay if visiting Rome .

“Very Good Location ”

The location is the main plus for this hotel. Small walk from Termini train station and then within walking distance of Trevi fountain, colosseum etc. The hotel itself is quite small and the rooms are small but we found them at least clean and they were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided … more

The location is the main plus for this hotel. Small walk from Termini train station and then within walking distance of Trevi fountain, colosseum etc. The hotel itself is quite small and the rooms are small but we found them at least clean and they were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided daily. It can be noisy at times our room view was over air con or kitchen exhausts at the side of the building and the air con in the room is a bit of a mystery comes on and off with having no control over it. Breakfast room is again small but food that was on show was adequate and the staff were very nice and helpful. The main flaw for us was possibly the shower. It was not well lit up and the drainage was very poor. When we showered we had to be quick as possible because after 4 or 5 minutes the water was above your ankles and in danger of overflowing onto the bathroom floor. But all in all a decent and affordable place to stay for taking in the site's of Rome.

“Lack of sleep due to air con noise”

A decent stay (would have been) that was spoilt by a noisy air con unit (which you can't switch off). Would go really noisy every 20 - 30 min or so, and would go like this for a good 30 seconds, so needless to day, we have hardly slept that night. Room 202.
