Second time to stay at the hotel. I like the upgrades and remodeling quite beautiful. Like the entry into the dining area but did notice the tablecloths were gone and they were a nice touch. My only complaint being no way to control air conditioner from blowing directly on you. Had to turn off at times and couldn't open window to noisy.

“Visiting Rome”

Breakfast selections were very good. Close to places that you want to see around Rome, walking distances, such as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and shopping. However, we did walked from here to the Vatican, it was an early morning long walk, but fun.

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms are quite small, not surprising but as Rome was the first stop on our trip, it took us by surprise. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms are quite small, not surprising but as Rome was the first stop on our trip, it took us by surprise. The housekeeping staff were exceptional and the sleeping area and bathroom sparkled. One thing I noticed about the room is that the HVAC unit had a musty smell so I opened the window for fresh air, rather than using the system. This worked fine except when the cigarette smoke from the street wafted up into the room - even at 4:00 AM. Keeping the window open also meant being woken up by drunken tourists nightly. We were less impressed by the breakfast buffet. Not a great deal of variety and EVERY morning at 9:00 things were quite picked over and the fruit etc. were not replenished. We were also having to ask for clean cutlery as the baskets were empty. The pastries were fresh. They had an excellent espresso machine at the bar, but wanted people to use the self serve machine which made substandard coffee, cappucino's etc. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone could speak better English than our (duo lingo) Italian. A very good stay. The location was also very good, with just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain, aqueduct etc.

“Great location!”

The location of this hotel cannot be beat! They offered a family room which was good for a family of 4. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Compared to other hotels, the price was very reasonable. Recommend this hotel, especially for families.
