“Excellent Riad very close to Medina”

Here are our experiences as a family: two adults and a 6-year-old boy. It’s important to evaluate the property in the context of Marrakech, particularly its proximity to Medina—the old city center—and the unique charm you’ll find there. If you consider it from this perspective, this Riad easily deserves a 10. However, if you compare it to top European hotels or top-tier hotels in prime global destinations, you might find yourself slightly disappointed. Positives: * Clean and comfortable: The hotel and room were spotless and cozy. * Daily housekeeping: They cleaned our room every single day. * Delicious food: Breakfast was fantastic, and the restaurant was excellent. * Friendly staff: The team was very welcoming and helpful. * Great Wi-Fi in reception: Internet connectivity in the reception area was excellent. * Proximity to Medina: The location is very close to the old city center. * Convenient local shops: Nearby stores where you can buy drinks, snacks, and other essentials. * Airport transfer: They arranged smooth and comfortable transportation to and from the airport. * Beautiful property: The Riad itself is stunning. * Spacious room: Our room was large and accommodating. * Massage service: The massage was decent—not bad, but not as good as a Balinese massage. Negatives: * Wi-Fi in the room: The internet connection in our room wasn’t very reliable. * Room temperature: We stayed in Marrakech from December 31, 2024, to January 6, 2025. The hotel provided two electric radiators, but we still found the room a bit chilly. This, of course, depends on personal preference—we enjoy warmth, while others might find the room temperature perfectly fine. * Noise: There was some noise from the Riad and the surrounding area. However, given that it’s an old building with standard windows, this is something you should expect. Finally, it’s worth noting that reading this review before visiting Medina—the old city center of Marrakech—might not give it the full justice it deserves. The charm of the area and the overall experience significantly contribute to the Riad's appeal.

“Lovely Stay”

Just returned from 6 day stay at the Riad. Very traditional decorated, we had a connecting room which gave us more space, 2 bathrooms. “Beautiful riad.”

Loved the inside character of the riad! Beautiful decor, furniture, art and decoration. It was so relaxing to have a pool for some afternoon quiet and rest. Omar was very helpful!

The riad is overall ok. But the standard rooms are very small, the AC is very annoying and doesn’t work well which is horrible in the heat.
