Superb hotel with a brilliant location close to all main areas. The deluxe room with private pool is worth the extra to relax in at any time of the day. Staff were helpful with any queries. Absolutely no noise with the balcony door shut despite passing traffic and people. Complimentary bottle of fizz was a nice touch too! Also, make sure to go to Luigi’s restaurant about 100m down the road, lovely food and very reasonably priced. All in all, perfect hotel for a nice weekend break, would more than happily stay again.

I am writing this review because I am spending my last night at the Hotel. I was a bit skeptical when I chose this Hotel over other options. Still, to my surprise, the Hotel Catalonia Eixample 1864 was the best option for me as a solo female traveler. Now let's talk about the goods: The Hotel's location is a traveler's dream! It's within walking distance of many attractions, and there's a plethora of cafes, bars, and restaurants in the vicinity, perfect for a solo traveler's exploration. The staff at Hotel Catalonia Eixample 1864 are not just friendly, but also incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist, making you feel like a valued guest. On the third night of my stay, there was a minor issue in my bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's swift and efficient response. Instead of a potentially frustrating discussion, the staff immediately offered to change my room, ensuring my comfort and peace of mind. The breakfast at the Hotel is a delight. While the hot breakfast items were not available until today, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The variety and quality of the other items more than made up for it. The only minor issue was that the omelets, kept under a warmer, were not as warm as I would have liked, and the coffee was a bit watery. However, the rest of the buffet was so good that these were easily overlooked. The gym, though very small, is aptly equipped. all in all, I highly recommend staying at this spectacular Hotel.

There isn't much of a lobby but all other aspects are very good. There area is great, being close to the underground railway and subway. There are many restaurants in the hood, most being affordable. The staff are attentive and there for you. The room had all amenities needed including a small fridge. Quite an adequate smallish hotel with its own bar, restaurant, pool area and grocery store nearby.
