“Great value for a getaway”

After searching for a nice hotel close to the beach in Orange County, this place easily takes first prize. The facility is very clean, with comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. There is also free Wi-Fi and free parking (very rare on the beach), and the hotel is located right across Pacific Coast… more

“We are both 77 yrs, married 54 yrs. and still enjoy getting away together.”

Stayed 4 days and enjoyed the Room and the Ocean view from our balcony. Thankful there was an elevator as we stayed on the 2nd floor and spouse uses a walker. Parking was underground and convenient and no additional charges for parking.......that is rare today.

“Retired couple”

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Free breakfast was better than expected. Good location for us. We only stayed for a weekend to attend family events. Price was competitive with others in the area. We would likely stay again if returning to that area.

“Ocean View”

Updated rooms & jacuzzi in some rooms, fresh paint with a nice location near factory outlets & restaurants a few miles away, nice ocean view jacuzzi is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast has meat & eggs & lots of other choices. Lots of bang for your buck in Dana Point & close to San Clemente.

“Fair.”

The bed was lumpy. The baseboards in the bathroom needed refinishing and paint. There was no lamp between the beds so I couldn't read in bed. There was no clock or clock radio in the room. There was nice vinyl flooring instead of carpeting which was great and everything seemed clean. But … more

The facility is very clean, with comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. There is also free Wi-Fi and free parking (very rare on the beach), and the hotel is located right across Pacific Coast Highway from not just the beach but also a block away from an excellent tall overpass bridge that takes you over the railroad tracks but also provides some great views up and down the coast. The manager Napolean R and his sister do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome like family and the prices here are reasonable (consider also a mid-week visit). Also, some of the rooms have clean, modern and well-maintained two-person hot tubs which we greatly enjoyed as well as the numerous outdoor sitting areas (all sheltered nicely from the rain or bright sun) with tables and chairs, from which you can enjoy the ocean view while playing board games or just relaxing. This is a quiet location away from the crowds and traffic of Dana Point but very conveniently located for all the attractions in the area. We will definitely be coming back!
