The Courtyard by Marriot was a nice one night vacation to get away from the every day routine housework and cooking. Great location with a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. Room was an accessible king. Bed was super comfortable with plenty of room to get around. Large screen TV with a lot of channels to watch. Very clean and neat. Some of the negatives. We need a handicapped accessible room but don't understand almost all hotels as the rooms seem to be a long walk from the entrance or elevator. Why didin't Marriot put the room we had next to the rear entrance where we parked in a handicap spot? The rear entrance didn't have any assistance button to help open the door. Neither did the room. Room doors are usually quite heavy and shut automatically. So being handicapped makes it difficult to get into and out of the room. Hope that saying this will wake up the hotel industry to doing an overall better job. Besides this, there was supposed to be a restaurant for breakfast. The only thing I saw was a Starbucks in the lobby the morning we checked out. It wasn't our idea of a breakfast place so we went to Denny's nearby. Despite this, it was nice and I'd go again.

“Very Ok”

Stayed here one night before driving into the city. The remodeled room was nice and clean, the outside looked a little odd. No real amenities. It was a low point redemption and was satisfied with my stay. Great place to crash for a night. Oak brook mall and many restaurants nearby.

I travel to the area often for work and always stay at a Marriott hotel. This time my two preferred hotels were full so I stayed here. It will not become a preferred hotel, but I would stay again. Positives: Every employee that I encountered was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the ac worked great. It was very quiet. Negatives: It’s an older hotel and the rooms are small and dark. The shower is also small and the water pressure is terrible. There is only one elevator and it’s located at the end of the building. I could see that being an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

Pros: Good location, clean, attentive staff (except maids), good beds, quiet Cons: No complimentary continental breakfast, asked for room service, was asked what I specifically needed and just dropped off towels on the bathroom sink’s counter, didn’t pick up used towels. Pros: Good location, clean, attentive staff (except maids), good beds, quiet Cons: No complimentary continental breakfast, asked for room service, was asked what I specifically needed and just dropped off towels on the bathroom sink’s counter, didn’t pick up used towels. Shower drain didn’t work fast enough so I was ankle deep in water when showering. Garbage cans in room are two small in capacity. We had to dump our own trash. Coffee in room was a dark roast hot mess. If you wanted coffee, you had to buy it from the Starbucks by the bar. Again, what happened to a medium roast of breakfast blend. Had to ask for t-bags.
