You can't hear anything but the noise of the boat. Birds and water complement it. You start to unwind and feel at one with the natural environment. Your thoughts take you to Java, land of volcanoes, and the rice terraces of Ubud. You're exploring hidden corners of Bali and observing those animals that have always fascinated you, for their size and for what they represent: Komodo dragons. You can almost touch them, but... you open your eyes and they fade away. Stop dreaming and come along with us.

  • Choose your departure date: Most private tours have daily departures. Don’t you conform to the journey, let the journey conform to you.
  • Organized and flexible: Everything is organized but when traveling privately, you don’t depend on strict schedules, providing agility and flexibility in visits.
  • Customization and Attention: Being private, both guides and drivers give all their care and attention to you.
  • Travel without worry: You have the advantages of a trip on your own but with the peace of mind that everything has been designed so you don’t miss anything. Your only concern is to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta - Pangkalan Bun - Tanjung Puting

Includes: BreakfastLunchDinner
Breakfast. Morning departure to the airport for a domestic flight to Pangkalan Bun, in the Indonesian part of Borneo. Once there, we'll head to Kumai and take a boat over to the Tanjung Puting National Park. There, we'll board a klotok, a traditional boat, on which we'll explore the park and also spend the night. A klotok is a kind of wooden houseboat that sails up and down the river. The upper deck is the best place to admire the tropical jungle while the boat is underway. Lunch. As the klotok ventures deeper into the Borneo jungle, and if we're in luck, we'll spot playful macaques and small crocodiles camouflaged among the lush vegetation. We'll get to meet some orangutans by visiting one of the feeding stations of these apes, where at certain times of the day they are called in to get their food. These are orangutans living free in the reserve but within rehabilitation projects. In the evening, we can take an hour-long walk through the jungle, if we fancy. Dinner and overnight stay on the klotok.

Tanjung Puting

Includes: BreakfastLunchDinner
Breakfast. We'll set out towards Pondok Tanguy, about a twenty-minute walk away. From there, we'll continue to Camp Leakey, a rehabilitation and reintroduction centre for older orangutans. There, we can trek through the jungle and observe orangutans, macaques and gibbons. Once again, we'll see how they get their food from the feeding station. Lunch. We'll then spend the afternoon and night sailing along the river on the klotok. Dinner and overnight stay.

Tanjung Puting - Pangkalan Bun - Semarang - Yogyakarta

Includes: Breakfast
Breakfast. Back to the Kumai district to head off to Pangkalan Bun Airport, where we'll take a domestic flight to Semarang. Upon arrival, transfer to Yogyakarta. Free time and overnight.

Yogyakarta - Borobudur - Prambanan - Yogyakarta

Includes: BreakfastLunch
Early morning start today to watch the sunrise at the Borobudur Temple. We'll leave the hotel just before 4.00 am to head to the centre of the island of Java. This Buddhist temple was built in the 8th and 9th centuries by the Shailendra dynasty. It has three levels: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, a central part with three circular platforms and an upper part formed by a large stupa. After the sunrise tour, we'll enjoy breakfast. We'll then go to Candirejo, near Borobudur, where we'll take a horse and carriage ride through the villages to see rural life at its most authentic. We'll have the chance to join locals in playing the gamelan, a traditional Javanese instrument, and also enjoy a visit to a time-honoured food factory. We'll then visit the huge Prambanan Temple, built in the ninth century by the Sanjaya dynasty at the foot of Mount Merapi. We'll end the trip with lunch near the temples of Prambanan. Overnight stay.

Yogyakarta - Mojokerto - Mt. Bromo

Includes: BreakfastLunch
Breakfast. Early departure to take the train to Mojokerto, arriving mid-morning. From there, we'll drive for around three hours over to the Bromo area. Lunch en route. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay.

Mt. Bromo - Banyuwangi

Includes: BreakfastLunch
Early morning departure by jeep to admire the sunrise from Mount Penanjakan. If the weather is on our side, we'll be able to see Mount Semeru, with Mt. Bromo in the background. We'll then take a pony ride across the sand to see the active crater of Mt. Bromo. After this, we'll head back to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the morning, we'll set out towards Ijen. And in the afternoon, we'll arrive in Banyuwangi. Lunch and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Banyuwangi- Munduk

Includes: Breakfast
Today we'll visit Ijen. At around one in the morning, we'll set off by jeep to Ijen National Park, which opens its doors at 2.00 am. We'll start off with a ninety-minute moonlight trek, using torches to light up the path. We'll come across peasants and miners on the way. And then we'll reach the volcano crater. We'll decide among ourselves how close we want to get to this amazing natural spectacle. The Kawah Ijen volcano is the scene of some pretty unusual phenomena. The fire of the volcano is blue and releases sulphur dioxide, a highly toxic gas that is the main cause of acid rain. Flames adorn the descent of liquid sulphur rivers in full combustion. Watching the sunrise from the crater is a breathtaking experience. When the sun comes up, the crater lake starts to dazzle, contrasting with the grey of its walls and highlighting the turquoise waters, produced by the sulphur and aluminium sulphate.
We'll head back to the hotel at around 9.30 in the morning in time for breakfast.
At the arranged time with the guide, we'll head off to the port to take a ferry to Bali.
Upon arrival, transfer to Munduk.

Munduk - Ubud

Includes: BreakfastLunch
Breakfast. Today we'll discover a more hidden and off-the-beaten-track side of Bali, with hiking trails, temples, streams and waterfalls. We'll see temples such as Tirta Kuning, we'll explore a protected jungle area and we'll have the chance to take a refreshing dip as we venture further through the wilderness. Lunch included. Transfer to the hotel in Ubud for overnight stay.

Next stop will be the rice terraces of Tegallalang, where we'll enjoy lunch before going over to Puri Sebatu, a place of water purification ceremonies in keeping with Hindu tradition. We'll hear what the ritual involves and then get the chance to take part. Overnight stay in Ubud.

Ubud - Labuan Bajo - Komodo National Park

Includes: BreakfastLunchDinner
Breakfast. Transfer to airport to take a domestic flight to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival, transfer to the port to board the boat where we'll be spending the next few nights on a cruise around Komodo National Park. It's time to go to observe Rinca's famous dragons, stopping off at the different islands of Komodo. We can enjoy the spectacular underwater world in Kanawa and Sabolo. After this cooling dip, we'll head over to the island of Rinca to visit the Komodo dragons that live there. To get there, we'll trek along an arid trail. The trek can be short or long, depending on what we want at the time, and we'll be accompanied by the ranger and the guide. Lunch on board. To round off the day, nothing better than admiring the sunset in a stunning location, where we can also spot thousands of bats taking flight in search of food on other islands. Dinner and night aboard the traditional boat.

Important remarks

- Triple rooms in Indonesia are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.

- The baggage allowance on domestic flights of most airlines in India is usually 15 kg per person, so lower than on international flights. Please take account of this when packing your bags.

- Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Indonesia.

- Indonesia is a Muslim country and the month of Ramadan is of major significance to its residents. During Ramadan, entertainment and alcohol will be restricted in most of the country. The sale of alcohol will be restricted in many places, although some establishments will offer alcohol for sale to tourists. During this period, local businesses may also have shorter opening hours.

- Depending on the return flight, the trip may be one day longer.

- To reconfirm services at the destination, please send us your passport details within 24 hours of booking.

- Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

- From May 2022, the monuments of Borobudur and Prambanan will be visited only from the outside, without accessing the structures.

- The Ijen volcano is closed on the first Friday of every month. We recommend, whenever possible, choosing a departure date that avoids this circumstance. In case of coincidence, the visit cannot be carried out.

- The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).

- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.

- Prices are calculated based on admission fees to the sights as of the date of publication. If there is an increase in these prices, you will be promptly informed.

- If you are a person with reduced mobility, please contact us to confirm the suitability of the trip.

- Consult the necessary documentation to enter the destinations visited and for transit in the countries where air stopovers are made.
