Italy, 9 Days · Tailor-made, fully flexible travel
This railway journey will take you to three of Italy's most attractive cities, and its three capitals: Rome, its official capital; Florence, its artistic capital; and Milan, its financial and industrial capital. The first part of the tour takes place in the so-called Eternal City, an authentic open-air museum that fuses the beauty of ancient times with the attractions of Renaissance, Baroque and modern Rome. Strolling through its historic centre - declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO - is a journey through some of the most impressive monuments of ancient times. Among its classic treasures are the majestic Colosseum and the magnificent Pantheon, two buildings that changed the course of world architecture. And don't miss the Via dei Fori Imperiali to admire the forums of Caesar, Augustus and Trajan, ruins that will whisk you back to bygone eras. It's also home to the Vatican City and its Sistine Chapel, the legendary Fontana di Trevi, the Castel Sant'Angelo, the Villa Borghese, and the Capitoline Museums. Rome is simply stunning, thanks to its endless treasures. And then it's time for the quintessential 'all aboard' to cover the distance between the Italian capital and the city of Florence. Sit back and admire the stunning scenery of bella Italia as it passes by the window until you arrive in Florence, the Cradle of the Renaissance. A birthplace of art and architecture, yet also a work of art in itself, it's undoubtedly one of the world's most beautiful cities. The stunning historical quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to medieval and Renaissance wonders such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Ponte Vecchio, the Basilica di Santa Croce and the Palazzo Vecchio. Or museums such as the Uffizi, the Bargello or the Galleria dell'Accademia, which houses Michelangelo's David - an unforgettable sight. And then it's time for Milan, a true paradise for shopping lovers. Capital of fashion and design, it boasts a never-ending range of stores, avant-garde outlets, showrooms and high-end boutiques, clustered around the glamorous Quadrilatero d'Oro (Golden Rectangle). Must-sees among Milan's architectural and artistic heritage include the Piazza del Duomo, with the incredible Cathedral; the Royal Palace and the entrance arch to the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery; the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, which houses the priceless "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci; and the Teatro de La Scala. And make sure you explore the bohemian and artistic Navigli, a buzzing waterfront area where great food, art, nightlife and a fantastic atmosphere are guaranteed. Explore Italy's three 'capitals' on a single trip.

- Triple rooms in Europe are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
- Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.
- Hotels usually have cots available. Otherwise, babies will have to share a bed with an adult.
- Consult the necessary documentation to enter the destinations visited and for transit in the countries where air stopovers are made.
