Turkey and Greece, 8 Days · Tailor-made, fully flexible travel
Being one of the world's most beautiful cities, Istanbul is a seductive place separating East from West and boasting unique cultural richness. The West has always felt a strong attraction to Istanbul, the sultans' imperial capital. Istanbul boasts an incredible selection of museums, palaces and historic monuments including, among others, Hagia Sophia, the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, the Blue Mosque, the Süleymaniye Mosque, the Topkapı Palace and the Dolmabahçe Palace.
And Athens that has a broad cultural and historic appeal for travellers. Our visit will take us from the Acropolis (the most important archaeological site in Greece) to the historical areas of Plaka and Monastiraki with their wide array of shops and traditional Greek products. Also worth visiting are the Areopagus, the Ancient Agora, or market, home to the Temple of Hephaestus, Hadrian's Library, Philopappos Hill and the Hill of the Muses.

- Istanbul has an excellent multimodal transport network, with buses, minibuses, metrobus, underground trains, trams, funiculars, cable cars, ferries and taxis. Most means of transport are interconnected, which is great for hopping on and off. The best idea is to buy the rechargeable Istanbulkart card for public transport, with a range of multi-trip options. It's valid for up to five people and includes interesting discounts. There are numerous recharging points and the cost per trip is very low.
- The Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar will remain closed on religious holidays, Sundays and national holidays. Please consult.
- Triple rooms in Europe are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
- Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.
- Hotels usually have cots available. Otherwise, babies will have to share a bed with an adult.
- Consult the necessary documentation to enter the destinations visited and for transit in the countries where air stopovers are made.
