This is our most jam-packed trip along Australia's East Coast. We'll start with Sydney and its glitzy harbour. En route to Port Macquarie (where we'll discover the world of koalas), we'll stop in the valley for a cheese and wine tasting to savour the local produce. We'll get up close and personal with an indigenous tribe to learn more about their lifestyle and origins. We'll arrive at the Great Barrier Reef and drive to K'gari in a 4x4. Among others, we'll visit the cities of Cairns, Brisbane and Port Douglas. Ready to discover the east coast?

Sydney - Hunter Valley - Newcastle

Breakfast. We'll leave behind Sydney's skyscrapers and sidewalks to head to a nature park that features a stellar cast of koalas, kangaroos, and other animals from the region. All guided by our personal ranger. We'll be in the heart of the Hunter Valley here, so there's nothing better than a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting tour.
We'll also visit the sun-kissed port city of Newcastle. Transfer service to the hotel and overnight stay.

Newcastle - Port Macquarie

Breakfast. Today, we'll go to Port Macquarie to visit a koala conservation centre. Afterwards, we'll take a stroll along the beach and hopefully spot the dolphins that live off this coast. Rest of the afternoon free. Accommodation.

Port Macquarie - Byron Bay

Breakfast. Today, we'll take part in an immersive experience about the first nations with the Gumbaynggirr tribe, getting to know their traditions and their way of life. Then we'll head to Byron Bay, a laid-back surfing paradise with endless beaches, and onward to Cape Byron to admire the stunning views. Transfer service to the hotel and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Today, we'll experience a 4x4 adventure in K'gari, better known as Fraser Island. This is one of the largest sand islands in the world. Breakfast. Today, we'll take a boat trip to the Whitsunday Islands with a stop at the famous Whitehaven Beach, rated one of the world's most spectacular beaches. We'll have the chance to go snorkelling and marvel at the incredible seabed, with its array of fish, turtles, and corals. Rest of the afternoon free. Return to hotel. Accommodation.

Airlie Beach - Mission Beach

Breakfast. We'll change scenery today and head through the cane fields towards the picture-postcard Mission Beach. Arrival and afternoon at leisure to enjoy this heavenly paradise. Accommodation.

Mission Beach - Atherton - Cairns

Breakfast. Today, we'll travel to the humid tropics in the far north of Queensland. We'll discover a magnificent natural waterfall located in a tropical setting on the way to the Atherton Tableland, and we'll even be able to take a dip in its refreshing waters before heading to the volcanic Lake Eacham. We'll also visit the Higuera National Park. And to round the day off, we'll head to one of Australia's most vibrant, tropical and energetic cities, Cairns. Accommodation.

Cairns - Great Barrier Reef - Cairns

Breakfast. We'll start the day by visiting one of the country's true highlights: the Great Barrier Reef. We'll take a lunch cruise aboard a glass-bottomed boat to the famous reef. We can enjoy some snorkelling and marvel at the incredible marine life. Return journey to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Cairns - Kuranda - Port Douglas

Breakfast. Today, we'll take an incredibly scenic cable car ride through the rainforest to stunning Kuranda with its colourful open-air markets. Onward journey northwards to the sleepy town of Port Douglas. Once there, we'll take a tour of the town. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Free morning to unwind or enjoy the town. We suggest visiting its vibrant local markets or having a coffee at a craft beer venue. Lunch. In the afternoon, we'll visit Mossman Gorge. Later, through an amazing immersive experience, we'll learn about the culture, customs and cuisine of the Kuku Yalanji, an Australian Aboriginal people native to the rainforest in the far north of Queensland. Accommodation.

Port Douglas

Breakfast. We'll start by venturing into Daintree Forest, which is more than 135 million years old and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we'll take a ferry to Cape Tribulation, a natural setting that boasts a privileged location on the Queensland coast. After lunch, we'll meet the family that hosted David Attenborough's documentary crew, while keeping our eyes peeled for ancient cassowary birds, crocodiles, and other wild animals. Return journey to Port Douglas, dinner, and overnight stay.

- Triple rooms in Oceania are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
